The Young and The Restless Update: Melody Thomas Scott, Staying!

Good Morning All!
It is with great happiness, a sigh of relief and limited information 
that I announce that Melody Thomas Scott, more affectionately known as Nikki Newman will be staying with The Young and The Restless!
Since Scott’s debut on Y&R we have all grown to love and respect her role as the matriarch of the Newman Clan. Sources say that she will remain on the show “for now”. Not sure what that means, not sure I care as long as “for now” turns into as long as The Young and the Restless is on the air.
Just wanted to pass the information along. Perhaps now they will move forward with her and Paul’s wedding plans!

Yippee!!!! I have watched this shows for years and it would not be the same if she left. Just like how Days of Our Lives is kinda now just blahhhhh without Deidra Hall.

This is such good news.. I am so thrilled that Nikki (MTS) is not going anywhere.. this is not a recast I would have taken lightly.

Looks like melody finally took her leave. I have been watching her ever since she was a dancer than when she meet victor and he took her away from dancing there first marrage and so on and on and on now it looks like the rumors are true she didn’t renew her contract and is leaving the show with ashley hitting her with her car in the terrible rain storm..That our she is in a coma and victor is heart broken and crys at her bed side crying for her and how much he does love her and nicki wakes up hearing victors true feelings.. Ashley hears it all at the door way and leaves.Hey does victoria look prego she did when her and nick where chilling on the sofa with a beer she had a tummy.. Looks like that will be put in the show. wouldn’t that be a hoot if it is pauls they were together because of nicki leving him at the alter and J.T leaving her…
