The Young and The Restless Chat: Seriously MJ, Zapato
Posted by The Y and R Lady - 14/07/09 at 09:07 pmOK so as we all know now, MJ is Patty Williams, as she called herself by her name yesterday in a conversation between her and Kitty. You didn’t miss that did you? Besides the wedding invitation had her name on it last week.
However, now she and Adam have joined forces. She thinks it is so she can get closer to Jack and Adam is using her to get to both Victor and Jack. Now we know that wedding is coming up, hopefully they will show it tomorrow. Adam is already busy getting Mary Jane ready to crash the wedding as none other than Sabrina. These of course are the obvious things that they have shown us.
The not so obvious has been whose death is going to rock the Newman family. For a while I thought it was going to be Casey, Nikki’s sister. This fell in line with the fact that Nikki renewed her contract but was scheduled for a vacation. However, she and Paul took care of that leave of absence by going out of the country to hunt down facts about Mary Jane’s past. Now given the way today’s episode went and the fact that Mary Jane really believes that Kitty is alive, the death has to be that of the beloved Newman four legged friend Zapato. I say this because of the way Mary Jane assured Kitty that everything would be ok and the dog would never terrorize her again. I mean come on, she has already been betrayed by Victor and Jack doesn’t want her, Kitty is all she has.
Now in my opinion the writers over there at CBS are treading on thin ice. While I don’t personally mind because I have no problem separating what’s real and what’s not. I think there will be some viewers who are going to raise a stink about the pretend death of a dog that probably lives better than most of us. They are completely entitled too, there is something that all of us do not like to see on TV real or fake. I just know that some of us are going to be like, it was one thing when Adam made Ashley fall down the steps, another when MJ poisoned Summer, and let’s not even mention the Rafe and Phillip story line, but Old Yeller, now they have just gone too darn far. Even though I am positive that the dog will remain unharmed.
I guess Mary Jane can’t keep her word to anyone. She told Victor she could handle Jack and messed that up. Now she is breaking her promise to Kitty and the bird by going after the dog. Jeez the taxidermist must love to see her coming.

Did Adam see that the Kitty was not moving?
This is just my opinion and is subject to being wrong, we will just have to watch and see!

I almost peed my pants laughing, today, when Adam promised Mary Jane that he would be sure to bring kitty food and toys for MJs cat. I asked the same thing: “Does he realize that it’s not really moving?”
Ashley may go over the deep end when she sees MJ/Sabrina, but she will most definitely go over the deep end when she realizes that she is not carrying a live baby (although, deep down, and knowing how soaps work, I am secretly hoping that she was preggers with twins and the other twin is still alive and kicking, so to speak). The Ashley/lost pregnancy storyline is really bugging me (personal experience).
I hope MJ doesn’t hurt the dog, but I always forget about that fur ball, anyway, so by me, he won’t be missed.
Truth be told, I am like a kid in a candy store waiting for the cheez whiz to hit the fan in Genoa City. Looking forward to The Mustache to experience karma in such a way as he never thought he would experience it when he started on his spiritual journey, ages ago. You’d think he would have really learned a thing or two and thought 70 times before bring MJ into the picture. I don’t understand where Victor actually got the idea that crazy would breed responsibility (that she would be successful in bringing down Jack).
And I believe that Adam just found his way out…of the Sabrina mess. He’ll be able to blame it all on MJ and knowing her past (and current) history of crazy, a lot of people will be willing to eat it up with a shovel…that is, until her brother vindicates her as much as he can…(I guess we’ll see…)

YES YES YES YES AND YES. I agree with you so much. However I am shocked they are carrying on the storyline with Ashley for so long and letting it be so cruel. Do you remember the Robert storyline with the baby blanket. The other thing I haven’t been found of is the way they have been playing some of the women ass so weak. Now Phyllis on the other hand even when she is weak is still like, ummm nope no BS from you. Her vs Mary Jane well suited for battle
I think she is def going after the dog.
You are right Adam might get away with that portion. However he might want to trade but kickings once Heather finds out about him and Rafe. I think she might be more vindictive than Victor!

If they kill the dog then I am done with Y & R. I know it’a soap and not real but that is going to far. I am passionate about animals – pet sitting business, rescues and adopts unwanted dogs- so I’ll be done. I’ve about had it with Y & R anyway their writing sucks and they drag the storylines out wayyyyyyyy too long. And I am sick of Sharon lying about the baby. Don’t care about any of them anymore

I understand, we are all or at least should be passionate about something and when that line is crossed you have to decide. However don’t stop watching yet as that was just my guess. Something about the way MJ talked to Kitty made me think that is what was going to happen. However I try not to run across spoilers so that I don’t ruin it for anyone. I just have a funny feeling.
If not him then do you have an other I ideas? My other guess was Nikki’s sister…
