The Young and The Restless: Ashley Abbott the Head Case

Hi All:
Before I begin on the the storyline, I have to start off by saying that next year the actress who plays Ashley Abbott, Eileen Davidson, better be remembered when it is time for the Daytime Emmy’s or I am going to be pretty upset. Although I am not crazy about the storyline becuase I always appreciated her for her ability to handle the men on the business side of things, she is playing the heck out of what she has been given.
Now on the Head Case herself. Ok Ashley, I really feel bad for you. You have Victor hovering over you, confused and trying to understand if you are losing your mind or “hormonal”. Then you have your two-overly protective brothers constantly telling you what you should be doing, mainly eaving Victor, because they don’t like him. There is Adam who is the worst of them all because he made you feel safe although he is the one who is tormenting you. He pushed you down the stairs, made you lose the baby, is spying on you and some how always manages to get away with it. What are you going to do?
No wonder you can’t differentiate between what is real and what is not. No one is being completely upfront with you and the only person you feel you can trust might as well be satan himslef. Not to mention you don’t even know that you have lost your baby yet. Goodness gracious Lady, how much more do the writers think you can stand? I hope they don’t take you back to when you were walking around talking to Robert in a blanket. But it looks like that is where you are headed. What about when you figure out what happened that night on the road, that it wasn’t Sabrina? How will you handle that?
All I can say is that there are days when your lunacy is very intriguing and keeps me on the edge of my seat, then there are times when the screaming drives me insane. Regardless as I said earlier, you are doing a wonderful job with the crazy lady routine! Keep going and the Head Case of the year Emmy better be yours!!

I totally agree with you!
But the suspense is killing me about how far crazy will be taken and when/how she will finally come to her senses.
I don’t read soap preview mags, but is Adam going to be leaving the show anytime soon? I see a great whodunit in the offing: Crazy Ashley or Crazy-er Mary Jane/Patty or Rafe or Heather or Dr. Taylor???
I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I am SOOOO sick of this storyline. I have NEVER liked Ashley and Victor together. And please HURRY up and realize Adam is guilty!!

I know, I am so ready so Adam to get caught. He is so sneaky, I cant stand that he is still getting away with everything!!!

Dezzi They just got that Adam, what do you mean he is leaving? I guess he is losing popularity? Did they say why, I must do some research!
Don’t forget about Victor in your whodunits his rage made him rent the boat in Mexico!

I was merely speculating about “Adam” leaving. I think since they turned him from just a misunderstood bad boy to a demented coward, I do not like him at all.
But, I don’t know how I could forget that Victor would have the biggest and best motive of all in killing him, but Ashley and Mary Jane are in the best place to get off on a defense of legal insanity.
Parental ghosts love to visit Genoa City. Isn’t it long overdue for “Hope” to visit her son and give him the business the way that “Sabrina” has been giving the business to Ashley?

Darn I wish they would get rid of him, but I don’t know if I see it in the cards. I think Ashley already took care of her incident with the hit and run.

By the way I like the actor who plays him, I just can’t stand the role!!!!
