I know we all kind of saw it coming with the fantasies, but I think the fantasies were enough. Was it a must to have Devon and Tyra cross the line?

How old is she?
How old is he?
Didn’t he grow up with her being known as his aunt? Yes I know that they aren’t really related, but for those of us who grew up with an extended family that isn’t blood related, this is an ugly thought. Think about it Dru and Devon weren’t related, could we see them hooking up? I just think that was just as bad as them letting Mary Jane kill off Zapato.

I am really glad they were caught so quickly, maybe it will never happen again. Good job to Roxxanne for giving him all of his stuff and his keys back. Seriously walking in on them must have been similar to walking in one your grandparents or some other combination of people that you were never meant to see being intimate.

Poor Ana, how will she react when she finds out that her mother and her brother bumped uglies on the living room couch. Talk about traumatizing?

Where are they going to take this story line? Is Tyra going to end up pregnant and give the baby to Lily and Cane? Where in the heck is Della Resse when we need her. She needs to straighten the both of them out!

Out of all the characters on The Young and The Restless, I think her goody two shoe demeanor is certainly one of the more tolerable. What I mean by this is that the writers do a good job of making sure she remains sweet and innocent. The problem with that is they can sometimes over do it, she does make for a good modern day Cricket. However, she still stays on my top list of characters that I never want to have to go through anything terrible. Hmmm, she has been put through the ringers lately and now Cancer.

What I do not care for in this storyline is Devon and Neil’s position about Cane. The reason I say this is because at some point they have to let Lily grow up and start making decisions for herself. I think Tyra did a good job of trying to express to Neil he needed to let her make her own choices. Yet he just looked at her like, you are no where near as precious as my Lily so back off. Then again Olivia tried to talk to Neil and he looked at her as if he knew what was best for her. I find it interesting that he is being so “Protective” of Lily that he has forgotten how love made him so forgiving when He found out that Lily was actually his brother’s daughter and not his. At the end of the day nothing could keep him and Dru apart because his love allowed him to look over a lot of her flaws and vice versa, yet now he can’t see that.  Perhaps Dru should come back and remind him!

The other part that bugs me about it is the fact that Lily is potentially on her death bed, while they are remaining optimistic it would seem to me that if she wanted to dance with fire at this point, allow her to do it. Why would they want to keep her from someone whom she could draw strength from in such a difficult time. Seems to me that Neil and Devon need to put their personal feelings aside for while and focus on what will help Lily feel strong and confident and loved.

They should walk with some caution, sometimes matters of the heart can not be understood by simple on lookers. Lily is scared and needs the security of Cane, they should just move out of the way and let her be. She’s going to reach out to him, they can’t stop it. So they might as well get on baord.

However this is not Lily’s only family, will Nate come back and check on his cousin? I would love to see who they have cast for his role and how old he would be. What about Malcolm? Any one see a cameo appearances from Shemar? I know ther are a lot of us who would not mind seeing him on the set again?

In case you missed yesterday’s Y&R. Here it is. all I can say is, I can not believe the Dr. would take it this far.

There is going to be hell to pay once Victor finds out. The only problem is, will any one care what Victor says and does once they find out he brought Mary Jane to Genoa City?

Phillip Chancellor III says the words,” I’m Gay!” Several times as ahe has a heart to heart talk with the three women who loved him most!

Oh and Adam and Mary Jane being friends, oh the trouble is just about to start!

While no one threw the prodigal son a party, his appearance from the dead did create quite a ruckus. Complete with Katherine collapsing, Billy punching and of course, Lily crying.

The one thing everyone wanted to know was why Phillip III, heir to the Chancellor estate, would walk away from his name, family and life to assume a job as the propeiter of a Bar in Australia? Boy did he come fully equipped with more answers than I think they bargained for!

What I find most interesting is the way The Young and The Restless has taken Thom Bierdz real life experience and are turning it into one of the hottest storylines currently in GC.

Need some help making the connections? Well that’s why I am here.

It is said that part of the reason Bierdz left Y&R in the beginning was because he was gay and felt he had to keep it a secret.
Phillip III’s storyline never indicated that he was gay.

Beirdz keeping his secrets made him sad and depressed.
Phillip III tried to kill himself in order to escape the pain he felt in dealing with his sexuality.

After Beirdz left Y&R one of the jobs he had was as a bartender.
Phillip III owned a bar in Australia.

One of the few people that Beirdz came out to in his real life was good friend Tricia Cast.
Phillip III returns and the first person he tells is Nina, played by none other than Tricia Cast.

As Beirdz became more uncomfortable in his own skin, he began to have plastic surgery done, including inserts in his face to have a more chiseled manly look.
Who does he send to GC to assume his identity? Manly Cane, with tight physique and strong jaw line.

While I understand that art always imitates life, I find it very interesting the way that The Young and The Restless has chosen to use Thom Bierdz real life experience to bring back Phillip III thought to have been dead for 20 years.

Well now that he is back, what will they do with his character? Thom is very comfortable now with his sexuality and in his skin and has been vocal about the direction in which he would like to see this character go. Will this mean that Phillip III will be as well? We know that Rafe is one eligible suitor, will he and Phillip III find a love connection? Well, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Cane says, “Presto Change-o give me the DNA of Phillip-o” and magically changes test vials. So what will happen now? I know that there are a lot of story lines going on and honestly speaking one of them needs to be concluded. However, it might not be the Cane/Phillip III saga. I wanted so badly for him to get caught while he was switching vials but how could he when Lily was busy yapping around like a small lap dog.

Not to mention I don’t know how many phlebotomist would have taken the sample once Cane had touched it because it could compromise the integrity of the draw. I know it’s just TV, but come on, you mean to tell me that no one in Genoa City other than the villains have a lick of common sense?

Good thing is, Nina had enough common sense to put Paul on the case. He is turning up new evidence on a consistent enough basis to eventually turn up something that will stink up GC. Perhaps Phillip IV will return soon as well. That ought to steam things up a bit. Even though Cane is trying hard to cover his tracks, I think once P4 returns it will make him want to draw the Real Phillip III out.
