Hi All:

While young Phillip Chancellor III faked his death on The Young and The Restless as a means to escape. His return has brought up several real life issues. He stated the reason he was feeling suicidal was because of his sexuality but it is important to keep in mind that there are several other reasons why a person might have suicidal thoughts. The truth of the matter is Thom Bierdz’ older brother actually committed suicide.

I thought it was important to include this PSA because it gives a lot of information to help us identify the warning signs in someone we know. As well as provides a number for you if you are having these thoughts.

The alarming part is how many teenagers are either attempting to take or are successful at ending their lives. If we can all predict what is going to happen next on The Young and The Restless given a few clues, perhaps we could also use those abilities to try and save a life. Don’t ignore the warning signs and don’t be afraid to seek help on someone’s behalf. Don’t just brush off the signs as a stage or a transition, dig deeper. Find out what is really going on. If someone is having these thoughts you might not be able to help them alone, so this number would be good for you to keep as well. The number is simple 1-800-Suicide.

The signs listed are not just for teens but for anyone. Please if you are thinking of it, do not do it! Get Help, it’s there!

I think that what we will find out is that Cane had good intentions and was looking for the life he gained by being Jill’s son. However, we all know the saying, “The road to hell is paved with good intentions”

All I can say is that lying never saves anyone from any pain or anguish. We could all see the hurt in Jill’s eyes and of course a relapse for Katherine coming a mile away. The good thing is that they are on TV. They are paid actors and actresses and the hurt we see on their faces is real.

One thing “Restless” and I often say is that we watch the drama not live it. My suggestion to everyone who is an avid watcher is that you never let their art be your reality. It is not so easy to hurt or forgive once a lie has been introduced into a situation. It leads to mistrust and probably more lies to try and cover something that probably could have easily been forgiven or over looked.

Take for instance Cane, I do believe that he truly loves Lily. However now Lily is faced with making a decision and not knowing where the lie stopped or started. My advice continues by saying when you love a person no matter how hard it is to tell the truth it is in the best interest of all parties involved to be as open and honest as you can the first time. Each time you try to cover it takes away something from the other person. Even if you are afraid of what the truth might mean I know that it is better to be upfront then have to try and rectify the duplicity involved with hurting them and then lying to them. The truth always comes out in the end, you can either be in control and considerate of the other person or get caught up in the mess.

Regardless of if you are a habitual liar it is never to late to change. If you are a scared liar and lie when you feel your back is up against the wall find the strength to tell the truth. If you lied because you thought you were doing the person a favor, whatever the reason just stop doing it and come clean. After that it is in the person’s hand who you have wronged to either forgive you or not. You can’t make demands or get rewards for telling the truth. However what you will have is some relief from the guilt of keeping a secret from someone you care about.

So you know I don’t normally veer away from what’s on the screen but with all the secrets that have been revealed lately I thought it was a good topic to discuss.

Ok now that is out of my system, I have to say I feel sorry for Jill sometimes. Her arrogance and bitterness towards Mrs. C never ever pays off for her. The thing is, she is in pain and only knows how to lash out not grieve, forgive or move on. Thank God for Delia or she might never smile.

I don’t know about you, but when I heard Neil mention that he wanted to give me a high profile job at Chancellor Industries and I knew that I was on my way to the Buff and Polish Salon for an interview, or even close to having to accept that interview. I would have sung Mrs. C a song so beautiful she would have wept. Not to mention when she said, “I’ll buy your portion of the estate..cold hard cash”. My reply would have been do you need me to get you purse or take you to the bank, my things will be out by noon.

Yet she will not learn. She will not see that it is her own cruelty that is stopping her and Mrs. C from having at least a civil relationship. I don’t get it. After all the time they have spent loving and hating each other it would seem that Jill would know that Kay’s initial concern was for her well being.

I really wish she would find something to make her happy.

Why is Jill so hateful?
Will buffing nails make her try to be civil with Kay?
Is it too late, has too much damage been done to their relationship?
What if Gloria walks in for a manicure?
Will Nina’s reveal force Kay and Jill to make amends?
Will she lose her mind if Cane is not Phillip and Phillip III comes back?

I mean really who expected Jack to get on Billy the way that he did? I knew he would be mad, I knew that he would blow up, but to attack his character the way that he did almost made my stomach fall. Did anyone besides my girl GIGI4462 notice the redness in his face and how it made his eyes appear to change color? I bet if they were to pan outside there would have been storm clouds and lighting swirling around the Abbott mansion. Truly I am glad that Jack knows what happened.

However on the same subject, so Jack knows, however good ol’ Sharon still gets to escape any responsibility, for now. They all say they want to help Sharon yet no one ever holds her responsible for her treacherous acts. Seriously if there are never any consequences for your actions, why change them. I wonder how long Jack will pretend that he doesn’t know? Will Billy warn Sharon that she is in the eye of the storm? Will Jack be able to just pretend he doesn’t know? What will Nick do when he finds out that Sharon is really the Harlot Phyllis told him she was. Now on to what my storyline would have been, when Jack asked Billy about sleeping with Sharon, my response would have been for him to reply, “hasn’t everybody?” Of course it would have resulted in a completely different outcome, but I wouldn’t have been able to resist that zinger.

Nina, what is she up to? Some days she seems a lot shadier than others? The questions she asked Jill today almost seemed genuine, like she was going to expose the scam not be a part of it. Or perhaps she was just testing Jill to see how much of the story she truly believed. What do you think, scammer or scam buster? Interesting, that she is putting together the pieces of the puzzle and they aren’t matching regarding how they found Cane etc. I think she read my blog:)Also, I have a strong feeling that Phillip IV is on his way back!

Lily, Poor little silly Lily, so you mean to tell me that you are so in love that you didn’t realize that your husband was being evasive and stroking your ego by showering you with compliments to throw you off his scent? It seems to me you would want to visit where your husband came from before you were wed? Just in case, oh I don’t know, he’s lying! I do feel for her because she is one person in Genoa City that is genuinely a nice girl. Did we all see “Langley” aka Phillip III in a bar very similar to Jimmy’s? What is he doing there? I want Lily to be more presisstent so that Cane has to make a phone call. I need more details. The guy who helped in the bar had an accent so I guess Cane is from “the Down Under”. What are he and Phillip III up to?

Speaking of the girl next door, Mac and Raul are engaged. Billy couldn’t be more… upset. Honestly he has to feel as though he should have stayed in bed all day. Yet there is something about her enthusiasm makes me think the marriage is not going to happen. For instance the fact that she told Kay she was happy, yet she never cracked a smile. Not exactly the poster child for blushing bride.

Now on three, I want everyone to say, YAY Chloe! 1..2..3..Yay Chloe! I am really proud of her for leaving Billy and I don’t think she could have left at a better time. While Chloe made some bad judgment calls in the beginning, she really has tried to support Billy, more than Billy has tried for her and Delia. She was right to leave him when everything else was going wrong. Had she not, he would have continued his doormat abuse of her. I only hope that he comes to his senses and determines to treat her right, I think they make a good looking couple.
