Hi All:
Before I begin on the the storyline, I have to start off by saying that next year the actress who plays Ashley Abbott, Eileen Davidson, better be remembered when it is time for the Daytime Emmy’s or I am going to be pretty upset. Although I am not crazy about the storyline becuase I always appreciated her for her ability to handle the men on the business side of things, she is playing the heck out of what she has been given.

Now on the Head Case herself. Ok Ashley, I really feel bad for you. You have Victor hovering over you, confused and trying to understand if you are losing your mind or “hormonal”. Then you have your two-overly protective brothers constantly telling you what you should be doing, mainly eaving Victor, because they don’t like him. There is Adam who is the worst of them all because he made you feel safe although he is the one who is tormenting you. He pushed you down the stairs, made you lose the baby, is spying on you and some how always manages to get away with it. What are you going to do?

No wonder you can’t differentiate between what is real and what is not. No one is being completely upfront with you and the only person you feel you can trust might as well be satan himslef. Not to mention you don’t even know that you have lost your baby yet. Goodness gracious Lady, how much more do the writers think you can stand? I hope they don’t take you back to when you were walking around talking to Robert in a blanket. But it looks like that is where you are headed. What about when you figure out what happened that night on the road, that it wasn’t Sabrina? How will you handle that?

All I can say is that there are days when your lunacy is very intriguing and keeps me on the edge of my seat, then there are times when the screaming drives me insane. Regardless as I said earlier, you are doing a wonderful job with the crazy lady routine! Keep going and the Head Case of the year Emmy better be yours!!

While talking to Kevin, Daniel brought up the idea that he believed it could be Alex. So you know me well enough by now to know that I had to do some research and find us old clips about Alex. I think I agree with Kevin, it seems to be a pretty elaborate scam for him to pull off. However we also have the emails from Amber’s fan that couldl be an indication that it is Alex.

Here is how my mind is working at the moment. I am going to explore two possible options.

Option one: It is Alex.

The only thing so far that would make me think it could be Alex is the fact that he could be the person that has been sending Amber all of those emails. During his previous reign of terror over Kevin and Daniel, the one thing he did do was target Lily. Daniel’s then wife.

Now if he were back perhaps the way he is really going to get to Daniel again is to go for his heart. Which no longer belongs to Lily, but now belongs to Amber. I am not convinced of this at all as of yet.

My true feelings are Option Two:

That this person who is framing Daniel is not after him at all. For some reason I have this feeling that it has to do with someone else. I was thinking as I was watching the show today how uncanny it is that this person behind the scheme is completely up to date with the art that Sabrina was interested in purchasing.

If you think back to how Daniel got his start it all began with Sabrina sending his art work to a “Friend” which was never named. So far, this person has had the means to buy all the art in Daniel’s last exhibit. Knew his style well enough to know that he could copy the painting. Warned him about having Jana around because she knew art very well (Remember Jana worked for Sabrina). Contacted Victoria to set up the exchange for the phony piece. Now has the one painting that was a favorite of Sabrina’s just in enough time to make it available for Victoria to purchase. Too many ties to Sabrina for me!

What if the person behind all of this is not after Daniel at all, what if they are really after Victoria or Victor? Think about when the artist from France talked about his relationship with Sabrina, there was much that he kept to himself. What if her past is catching up with the Newman’s. Or someone blames them for her death? What if this has more to do with her than it ever did with Daniel?

Oh and let’s not forget the conversation between JT and Victoria today where they discussed her staying out of the hospital and buying art in dark alleys only for her to pick up the phone and call “the hand!” Heck if this is not the story line it should be:)!

Of course this is all speculation and I look forward to you finding holes in my theories or supporting them. Either way please let me know what you think.

PS I also think there is another story budding out of the emails that Amber has received. I have a feeling she is going to be a sitting duck because of all the other things that are going on and something bad is going to happen to her, just my own personal feeling.

There were several silly parts to this story line. The first would be, why would Estella choose to just show up to the ranch and let herself in knowing that Ashley is terrified of her and feels that she is behind all of the “Gas Lighting” (had to use that phrase) that has been going on? Seriously Estella, does the door bell no longer work. What exactly were you thinking? If you had proof that you were not to blame why not take every opportunity to be certain that Ashley would be willing to hear you out. Then stopping and standing at the picture of Sabrina could not have helped ease any of Ashley’s suspicions.

Another thing is Heather, I know it is a ranch and more than likely very large. However, if you are such a goody two shoes why would you walk in, go past Ashley, leaving her pregnant with a woman that she feels is behind all of the shenanigans. Then you go see Adam and never mention to him that Estella was there? More on your stupidity in the next post.

In addition, during the conversation where your lawyer nephew tells Ashely that he has die hard information that will get you off in “plain black and white” give the information, not to the woman who you are trying to convince, not to the Assistant DA who is standing there, but to the BLIND MAN. You said it was in “black and white”, Rafe, not braille. Why would Adam need it and why would you hand it over to him? Perhaps this is why Adam is going to all of a sudden turn his sights on to Rafe, to convince him to bury that piece of info.

Alas, my final silly thing of this episode had to be Rafe’s hairdo. I don’t know about you, but to me he very much resembled this hot piece of man candy.

You got it! Rafe is Phil Donahue’s love child!

Thanks Ashley for finally realizing that it probably wasn’t Estella because she had been loyal to Victor for so long and that maybe you are still not out of danger. Now if we can finally get you to think, “Hmmm who would have it out for Victor and constant access to me? Eureka his evil son ADAM!!!!!”
