However, now she and Adam have joined forces. She thinks it is so she can get closer to Jack and Adam is using her to get to both Victor and Jack. Now we know that wedding is coming up, hopefully they will show it tomorrow. Adam is already busy getting Mary Jane ready to crash the wedding as none other than Sabrina. These of course are the obvious things that they have shown us.

The not so obvious has been whose death is going to rock the Newman family. For a while I thought it was going to be Casey, Nikki’s sister. This fell in line with the fact that Nikki renewed her contract but was scheduled for a vacation. However, she and Paul took care of that leave of absence by going out of the country to hunt down facts about Mary Jane’s past. Now given the way today’s episode went and the fact that Mary Jane really believes that Kitty is alive, the death has to be that of the beloved Newman four legged friend Zapato. I say this because of the way Mary Jane assured Kitty that everything would be ok and the dog would never terrorize her again. I mean come on, she has already been betrayed by Victor and Jack doesn’t want her, Kitty is all she has.

Now in my opinion the writers over there at CBS are treading on thin ice. While I don’t personally mind because I have no problem separating what’s real and what’s not. I think there will be some viewers who are going to raise a stink about the pretend death of a dog that probably lives better than most of us. They are completely entitled too, there is something that all of us do not like to see on TV real or fake. I just know that some of us are going to be like, it was one thing when Adam made Ashley fall down the steps, another when MJ poisoned Summer, and let’s not even mention the Rafe and Phillip story line, but Old Yeller, now they have just gone too darn far. Even though I am positive that the dog will remain unharmed.

I guess Mary Jane can’t keep her word to anyone. She told Victor she could handle Jack and messed that up. Now she is breaking her promise to Kitty and the bird by going after the dog. Jeez the taxidermist must love to see her coming.

Some of the rumors that I have heard is that she and Victor plan on tying the knot sooner rather than later. Some say Adam and Mary Jane have a huge wedding gift in store for her (note how similar MJ’s stature is to Sabrina’s:)) also that a Newman is going to die. Who could it be? Had I heard the rumor any sooner I still do not believe that it would be Summer, just doesn’t seem right, especially since this little girl just got the job. However what about one of the other Newman children? Abby has been gone for a long time? Could it be her? Perhaps Noah? That would be terrible to take away two of Sharon’s children. However it would almost cement her need to tell the truth about the baby she is carrying? Or will they just let history repeat itself and knock off Ashley and the Baby?

Were it Abby, how would Victor and Ashely move forward? Speaking of Abby and family, shouldn’t Colleen be set to return as well. I wonder where she has been, what she has been doing and how it will affect her seat on the Newman board?

While there has been a lot going on there are still a lot of story lines that are being left out. For instance, when will we find out what is going on with Lily’s health? I’ve heard everything from pregnant to Cervical or Ovarian cancer. When she finds out what is wrong, will this bring her and Cane back together? Will it bring Dru back from the dead and Malcolm back from Criminal Minds?

What about the fact that Gloria and Jeff have been quiet for some time as well. We know they are running out of money so I am sure that they’re secretly up to something.

While I have been enjoying the current drama quite a bit, I don’t think I would mind a quick visit to some of the other stories. Who knows, perhaps this week?

Also, anyone think Deacon is sick enough to kill Amber. Did anyone ever pay any attention to the fact that Victor had missed a payment on MJ’s room? Do you think he could lose his family and his fortune? When will Paul and Nikki tie the knot or is wedded bliss slowly slipping out of their reach?

Right now the cards are stacking against Victor. In my opinion he stands to lose all that love him. If/when he does what will this do to one of the strongest, most powerful men of Genoa City? Think about it, we all know that his kryptonite is the loss of his loved ones. We saw this first hand with the death of Sabrina and his unborn child. So will the Mustache be able to rebound once he finds out that Ashley too lost their baby?

How will he react when he finds out that the child’s death was at the hand of his vindictive son Adam? In just that scenario alone he has lost two family members. Now we also know that the Newman’s will band together for any crisis. However, we now have Paul on the scent of Mary Jane and when he is focused he get’s the job done. She has attacked his soon to be grand-daughter, so I am sure he is fully motivated to seek out the truth about her identity. How will Nikki, Victoria, Phyllis and most importantly Nick react when they figure out that Mary Jane is there because of him? Will it not feel like the ultimate betrayal to know that your father is ultimately responsible for the near death of your daughter? That his need for revenge and payback put a psychopath right in the mix of your family?

Let’s not forget that she still wants to deal with Sharon, who might as well be one of his daughter’s. Once she goes after her, will Noah be able to look past the fact that the nut job was there to do Victor’s dirty work? Not to mention that the child is not Jack’s but Nick’s. So again she will be attacking the Newman’s and not the Abbott’s. Add into the batter that Paul and Nikki are set to get married and Mary Jane is actually his sister. So he will be losing a life long friend as well. Victor what have you done? Oh yes, when Ashley finds out that you did all of this to set up her brother after she begged you to move past your animosity?

All I can say is that right now for Victor it looks like all roads point to hell. I see another breakdown in his future. The difference this time being that he won’t be in a position to cut his family off and turn his back on them, instead the shoe will be on the other foot. Can you blame them?

Will the great Victor Newman be able to undo what he has done to his own family? Will the Great Tower of Newman Finally Fall? He might want to call Estella back, she might be the only friend he will have left.

We all saw Sharon look at the DNA results and gender of the baby. What we don’t know is why she would say the baby was Jack’s if it was in fact Nick’s. I am predicting that she is telling Jack it is his because Summer is in the hospital so sick and she is trying to do the noble thing by not tearing apart his family. I don’t know. If she moves in with Jack or decides to continue on that line of thinking what eill Mary Jane do to her? What are you thinking?

Man! Ok Even I am shocked at how devious MJ was with this move. I can not believe that Mary Jane’s treachery is so cold and easily contrived.

As a person with a peanut allergy Mary Jane could have easily given Summer “The Kiss of Death”. Is anyone else surprised at how quickly she came up with the scheme and how calm she was in pulling it off? She didn’t blink or give it a second thought. She might be well on her way to being Y&R’s best female villain. I say this because I don’t think either Phyllis or Sheila were ever as quick on their feet as Mary Jane when she took the cookies out THE TRASH, ate them then gave an innocent little girl a poisoned kiss. All while planning a dinner with Jack to help Phyllis feel better. Dang girl! You are SICK!

So what now? I’m not really sure how trying to get Phyllis and Nick back together is going to help her with her problems. Unless she has plans for Sharon as well. think about how Jack moves, if Phyllis is in distress he will run to her. If Sharon is in distress he will move hell and high water to help her. So how is Mary Jane going to occupy both women at one time so that Jack can focus his attention on her?

Darn you Mary Jane! You are not supposed to go after the kids!

For so many months now Phyllis has been trying to be the big girl at the party when it comes to Nick. She has allowed him to walk in and out; forgiven him when she saw him cheating with her own eyes; forgiven him when he told her he cheated, then damn near (I had to say it that time) begged him to stay with her and Summer.

Well you know what! Enough is enough! When Nick tried to act “all funny” (used that just for Restless) today in front of Sharon, had Phyllis just meagerly walked out of that room without expressing her feelings I would have jumped into the TV and made sure the door hit her on her backside. However much to my chagrin, she stood her ground. Welcome Back Good Ol’ Phyllis. Not taking stuff from anyone especially some who hurt you!

Seriously Nick was way out of order. Speaking of out of order, did anyone pay any attention to the looks on Sharon’s face during the conversation? She stood there, like Sharon does all noble and making faces at Phyllis like Nick had some sort of right in talking to her that way. Catch this! Sharon is no where near as stupid as many of us give her credit for being. She knew good and dog gone well that Phyllis was on the edge and had she opened up her mouth to let out one little peep, I think Phyllis would have forgotten she was pregnant and laid the smack down on her.

I know that there are a lot of Shick fans out there. Shick or Phick you have to see that right now Genoa City is running a little short on people with enough backbone to stop being run over. It’s time Genoa City got some of it’s powerhouse characters back in action, Jack and Ashley need to follow suit. Too many tears in GC! It’s time for some action!

This is only the beginning of what we will see from Phyllis! Between Daniel and Summer, Mama Bear will roar! (I Hope)

What did everyone think of Victor and Nick’s Father/Son talk? Well in my opinion, I thought Victor brought up some really good points. Not to mention I love it when he plays the role of cool, calm, concerned father.

What I found interesting was when Victor asked Nick if he was sure about what he was doing, Nick did not seem all that certain. He had this look come over his face like, “Am I ever certain?”. It left me with enough of a raised eyebrow to think that perhaps this love affair will not be all that he thinks it will. Anyone else catch that, or am I dreaming because I don’t like the two of them together?

I did like the fact that Victor was really clear with expressing his concern for the other people involved in his decision. With particular emphasis on the children. I am sure that Nick gave them a little bit of thought, but when he described their living arrangements it did not seem as though he was fully protecting Summer. Granted it would be virtually impossible to get her out of Phyllis’ custody, but he didn’t even mention shared custody. She is still young and could adjust. But why bring the evidence of your old marriage into the new or should I say rekindled? Come to think of it, Sharon never showed the interest in Summer that Phyllis showed to Noah, but that’s another post!

What perturbs me about the whole situation is he is ready to give up his life with Phyllis and their daughter and he has never even asked Sharon if she slept with Billy. Let alone if he could be a potential father. Or perhaps it is the fact that neither he or Sharon are truly thinking of the well being of the entire family. I think they could have spent some time in separate abodes or something. To literally move out of one person’s house straight into another’s has to be confusing at best for the children that are involved.

What further led me to believe that Nick had not thought things through was him using Victor and Ashley to justify his decision. Perfect time for Victor to say, “pull your head out of your backside”. Instead he just pointed out that he did not want his son to make the same mistakes he had when Nikki left him. We all know he could have also said, “wel,l my wife was deceased, is Phyllis?” Did I move out of one woman’s bed directly into another, did you? Or how about, neither of the women I decided to be with were carrying a child with two (we all know 3) potential fathers, is Sharon? So kudos to Victor for taking the higher ground. I’m not so certain I could have resisted. I commend Victor for telling him that he was all but being selfish. However I so badly wanted him to say, “Son you are being a brat!”

Well to wrap it up, again I must say thank you to Y&R for giving us a moment of calm, sentimental Victor before the storm! Because we are all sitting on the edges of our seats waiting for the thunder to roll.

The other tiny little detail that Victor left out was that while he is with Ashley now, his heart still beats for Nikki! Had to throw that in there!

Hi All:
This has been a really popular question over the last few months. My opinion, and I am sticking to it, is that Mary Jane Benson is in fact none other than Patty Williams. She is the younger sister of Paul Williams and the ex-wife of Jack Abbott. She shot him three times after she found him cheating on her with Diane Jenkins and had a miscarriage.

Now if you have watched today’s episode, 6/15/2009, there were many clues that supported my theory. for instance, Jack telling Phyllis about the woman who shot him three times and the conversation that she had with Victor Newman.

I must say that even though I am almost positive that Mary Jane is Patty, I am still impressed by just how crazy the lady is becoming. Yet somehow she is masking this from everyone in Genoa City. Did anyone notice the way she talked about Summer with Kitty? Does anyone think that she will try to go after Summer again? What about her feelings for Jack? Even though she used the term no strings attached, her heart strings are clearly attached to Jack’s. Too bad he doesn’t know it. What is she going to do when he rejects her or betrays her once again?

What in the world does she have planned for Phyllis? I must admit that I am saddened that she has set her sights on Phyllis and decided to look away from Sharon. I know that she has a lot of fans out there, but I can’t help thinking it would have made for good GC drama to have her be the target. We know how Phyllis will react. She will come back with guns blazing, but what about Sharon, what would she do if threatened? Guess she will just remain in her tower for now and we will have to wait and see later. Does anyone think MJ is going to try and kill Phyllis?

What about her relationship with Victor and Paul? It seems as though Victor’s renewed hope in her might have removed him from her enemies list. For the time being, that is. I just don’t think Victor has a clue as to how psycho Mary Jane can become. His conversation with her regarding Paul was very interesting, I wonder how Mary Jane will handle the task of making amends with him and not blowing her cover. Any ideas?

What I do know is that Mary Jane has the most interesting life and the strongest looking arms in GC at the moment! I need a copy of her work out regiment!
